Fat Loss Made Easy By Adele Davies

the best day to start a diet is not Monday!

How many times have you announced to the world that your;

'DIET STARTS ON MONDAY'?

Usually whilst demolishing a family sized pizza and enough ice cream to put a baby hippo into a food coma!

Well, if that sounds like something you can relate to, here's a tip;

NEVER START A DIET ON A MONDAY!

AND HERE'S WHY; S**T HAPPENS! ESPECIALLY ON A MONDAY WHEN YOU'VE GOT A LOT ON YOUR PLATE (EXCUSE THE PUN).

Not to mention that you probably enjoyed your 'last night of freedom' a bit too much...

So you may well be feeling 'a bit delicate' and struggling with the inevitable post-binge comedown...

THROW A HEADACHE FROM HELL AND A TOUCH OF DIET BRAIN INTO THE EQUATION (DUE TO CAFFEINE & SUGAR WITHDRAWAL) AND YOUR LATEST HEALTH KICK WILL BE LUCKY TO SEE TUESDAY!

THE SOLUTION

AT SHAPESHIFTERS WE'VE SEEN SO MANY PEOPLE STRUGGLE WHEN 'TRYING TO START A DIET ON A MONDAY'...

THAT WE ADVISE ALL OUR CLIENTS TO START AT THE WEEKEND...

WHICH IS WHEN THEY'VE GOT TIME TO GET THEIR HEAD AROUND A NEW PLAN AND GET ORGANISED FOR THE COMING WEEK!

Not to mention, that 'most' people tend to feel a bit worse for wear when they make significant changes to their diet...

So starting at the weekend when you don't have 'work stress' to worry about, allows you to be more objective about how you actually feel...

i.e. Is my headache due to caffeine withdrawal? Or is it just because my boss is an absolute weapon and doing my head in?

THEN JUST MANAGE YOUR OWN EXPECTATIONS BY NOT EXPECTING THINGS TO GO PERFECTLY FOR THE FIRST FEW DAYS...(BUT DO ABSOLUTLEY EXPECT TO BE 'IN A GROOVE' BY DAY 4).

Which (coincidentally) is when the 'negative effects' from sugar/caffeine withdrawal (should) subside.

THEN ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS 'STICK-WITH-IT' UNTIL YOUR SLEEP, APPETITE AND ENERGY LEVELS ARE ON POINT...

AND YOU FEEL READY TO START TRAINING!

bonus tip

As the 6P Time Management Rule goes;

'PRIOR PROPER PLANNING PREVENTS POOR PERFORMANCE'

And never has this been more true than when it comes to transforming your body (or health).

MOST PEOPLE THAT COME TO US FOR HELP ARE BUSY PROFESSIONALS IN POSITIONS OF AUTHORITY AND IT'S HIGHLY UNLIKELY THEY'D BE IN THAT POSITION WITHOUT BEING ORGANISED...

BUT WHAT IS COMMON IS HOW REACTIVE AND DISORGANISED THEIR PERSONAL LIVES ARE, WHICH ALWAYS EQUATES TO:

POOR SLEEP

Insufficient and/or poor quality sleep leads to fatigue during waking hours and reliance on sugar/stimulants to 'get you through the day' which further compound poor sleep issues.

POOR FOOD CHOICES

You won't eat right, if you don't sleep right! Which is due to poor blood sugar control and elevated stress hormones. Both of which lead to poor food choices (especially when 'on-the-go').

POOR HEALTH STATUS

Poor sleep and food choices are both connected to a plethora of physical and mental health issues (many of which are life threatening).

INCREASED BODY FAT

If you're not sleeping or eating right, then 'looking your best' will be nothing more than a myth, especially as you pile on the pounds around your mid-section.

REDUCED MUSCLE MASS

Nothing kills muscle (tone) faster than a reactive lifestyle full of poor choices.

Which is exactly why;

TO SUCCESSFULLY TRANSFORM YOUR BODY (OR HEALTH) YOUR PERSONAL ORGANISATION SKILLS NEED TO EXTEND BEYOND YOUR HOURS OF WORK!..

And the less time you have, the more organised you need to be!

But please don't make the mistake of seeing personal organisation as a burden, because the more organised you are the more 'in-control' you'll feel...

AND 'FEELING IN CONTROL' REDUCES OVERWHELM!

AS WELL AS EXPONENTIALLY INCREASING YOUR CHANCES OF SUCCESFULLY TRANSFORMING YOUR BODY.

So there you have it! A thorough dismantling of Monday being the best day to start a diet, I hope you've found it useful.
