So, instead of looking for ways to 'hit the f**k-it-button' when things don't go according to plan...
You'll be mentally prepared to find a positive solution when a challenging situation arises...
WHICH FOR YOU, EQUATES TO :
Because regardless of your starting point...
Aspects of your lifestyle are absolutely going to have to change:
90% of the people we speak to don't get enough sleep, so there's a high probability you'll need to go-to bed earlier
Whatever you may or may not be doing in the gym, it isn't working! If it were; you wouldn't be looking for help
When trying to change the way you look, you have to eat for the body you want, not the one you have
If you spend your day's in a seated position, then you'll need to add in some walking to raise your activity levels
So, if you're attached to a lifestyle that's suited to an unhealthy, overweight and unhappy version of you, then guess what?!
You're going to stay; unhealthy, overweight and unhappy.
IF YOU WANT CHANGE, THEN YOU HAVE TO MAKE CHANGES!
ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTORS FOR SUCCESSFULLY TRANSFORMING YOUR BODY, IS BEING READY FOR THE TRADE OFF...
Because if your goal is to lose 2 stone in weight and 8" off your waist (in 8 weeks or less)...
But you won't give up alcohol or Uber Eats, then you're not ready to lose 2 stone in 8 weeks...YET!
Which is easy to surmise, because to you; the alcohol/take-out food is higher on your list of priorities than transforming your body...
Which is fine…as long as you’re OK with it.
Alternatively, if you're willing to make some short term sacrifices, to over-come your (long-term) vices (i.e. make a trade off)...
Then transforming your body in the shortest possible time-frame can be a forgone conclusion.
If you're like the 90% of general gym goers, then your ultimate goal is to "look good naked" which as I've said before, is absolutely fine...
There's nothing wrong with wanting to be proud of your own body in all its glory.
BUT BEFORE YOU ENLIST THE HELP OF A PROFESSIONAL TO ASK THE QUESTION: DOES PERSONAL TRAINING WORK?...YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BE CLEAR ON 'WHY' YOU WANT TO LOOK GOOD NAKED BEFOREHAND.
Reason being;
TRYING TO TRANSFORM YOUR BODY WITHOUT KNOWING YOUR 'WHY', IS LIKE GOING SHOPPING WHEN YOU'RE HUNGRY, IT'S NOT GOING TO END WELL!
That said...
We often find that the answer to this question requires a bit of soul searching, so you can tap into your deeper need for change.
And even though it might be tough at first...
YOUR CHANCE OF SUCCESSFULLY ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS WILL BE INCREASED EXPONENTIALLY...
WHEN YOU'RE COMPLETELY HONEST WITH YOURSELF ABOUT 'WHY' YOU WANT TO CHANGE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
