Steak and Chips Recipe with Sweet Potato Fries

Introducing:

SHAPESHIFTERS FILLET STEAK IN A HOMEMADE CHIMICHURRI SAUCE, WITH SWEET POTATO FRIES AND GREEN BEANS

ingredients (to serve 1)

STEAK AND CHIPS RECIPE:

FILLET STEAK

185g

SWEET POTATO

200g (sliced into fries)

green beans

150g

extra virgin olive oil

2 teaspoons

paprika

1 teaspoon

garlic powder

1 teaspoon

Himalayan salt

1 teaspoon

CHIMICHURRI SAUCE:

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

1 table spoon

extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon

coriander

1 bunch (chopped)

parsley

1 bunch (chopped)

garlic clove

1 (crushed)

red chilli

½ (finely sliced)

Himalayan salt

To taste

pepper

To taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Take the steak out of the fridge and leave it to come to room temperature (at least and hour) before cooking. Then season well with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Meanwhile, season the sliced sweet potato fries with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 tsp of paprika, salt and pepper, before oven baking for 20-25 minutes until soft (use an air fryer for better results).

Broil or steam the green beans for 7-8 minutes.

Heat 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil in a hot pan before adding the fillet steak and cooking to your preference.

Add all the ingredients for the Chimichurri sauce to a mortar with the left over juices from the steak. Then mash them together with a pestle until a paste forms, before adding it on top of the steak.

Present on a plate, serve and enjoy!
