INSTRUCTIONS

Add the beef mince to a bowl along with the egg, salt , pepper and paprika.

Mix all of these ingredients together and form 2 burger patties from the mince.

Store the patties in the fridge for at least 1 hour before cooking.

Whilst the patties are in the fridge, blanch the chips until they’ve gone fluffy.

Cool the chips in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.

Add the chips to a baking tray and drizzle over the goose fat (or coconut oil) whilst carefully mixing in the goose fat without breaking up the chips. Then add to a preheated oven at 170°C

Add the burger patties onto another tray and add to the preheated oven.

Use the time while the chips and burgers are cooking to make the coleslaw by; adding the ingredients (for the slaw) into a bowl and mix together well.

When the burgers are almost cooked to your preference, add on the sliced cheese and place back in the oven for a further 3-4 minutes allowing the cheese time to melt.

Add the mustard to the bottom half of a partially toasted brioche bun.

Add on the iceberg lettuce, then the burgers with the melted cheese, followed by the tomato slice, red onion, ketchup and top half of the bun. Then compress the burger slightly to ensure all contents remain intact.

Once the chips have cooked, add some salt and vinegar to taste and serve with the burger and slaw.

So there you have it! A Healthy Homemade Burgers Recipe for any occasion, I hope you find it as tasty as I did!
