Introducing:
SHAPESHIFTERS LEAN HOT DOGS, WITH DICED BACON, CARAMELISED ONIONS, MUSHROOMS AND SIDE SALAD
HEALTHY HOT DOGS RECIPE:
2 (Powters Skinny Pig Gluten Free)

2 (Promise brand)
100g (sliced)
75g (diced)

BISTRO SALAD:

Pierce the sausages with a fork and then add them to an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 30-40 minutes to cook (turning once).
While the sausages are cooking, add sliced red onion, balsamic vinegar and Stevia sweetener to a saucepan to caramelise for 10 minutes. Stir regularly, adding water throughout to ensure the onions don’t stick to the pan.
Next, add ½ teaspoon of coconut oil to another saucepan, then (once melted) add the mushrooms. Stir regularly (lightly salting at 5 minutes) before adding the diced bacon medallion and cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
Then prepare the side salad by add the bistro salad and carrot to a bowl, before adding the balsamic vinegar, lemon, salt and pepper. Then toss the salad until mixed well.
Once the sausages have cooked place them in the sliced hog dog buns, adding the mushrooms and diced bacon next and the caramelised onions on top.
Finally, add the bistro salad to the plate and serve.
