WELL, THEY CAN'T! SOUNDS IMPRESSIVE THOUGH DOESN'T IT!?
The problem with this (marketing) message, is that it gives people the wrong perspective on exercise and how it should be utilised for fat loss...
WHICH HAS RESULTED IN GENERATIONS OF PEOEPLE BEING CONVINCED THAT THE ONLY WAY TO CHANGE THEIR BODY IS TO...
EXERCISE TO THE POINT OF EXHAUSTION (AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE).
It also elevates exercise on the 'hierarchy of lifestyle needs'...
Meaning that people see it as the 'Holy Grail' when it comes to transforming their body/health...
Often to the detriment to the other lifestyle factors that really do need attention.

Instead of spending too much time in the gym trying to out-train a bad diet (using exercise as a punishment, for crimes against calories).
THE TRUTH IS; IT'S YOUR LIFESTYLE THAT DICTATES YOUR BODYFAT LEVELS...
WHEREAS 'PROPER TRAINING' DICTATES HOW HAPPY YOU ARE WITH 'WHAT'S LEFT'...ONCE ALL THE BODY FAT HAS COME OFF!
So the next time you hear about a '30 minute fat loss work out that burns a 1000 calories' remember this...
If something sounds to good to be true, then it usually is! Especially in the 'fitness sphere'.
