Looking for a power packed, Protein Hot Chocolate Recipe that's perfect for a preworkout snack replacement?
Well look no further!..
Introducing:
SHAPESHIFTERS HIGH PROTEIN HOT CHOCOLATE PREWORKOUT WITH BEETROOT JUICE AND MARSHMALLOWS
PROTEIN HOT CHOCOLATE:
300ml (Koko brand)
50ml (Beet-It brand)
20g (Bulk brand)
15g (Fellows brand)
8g (Green and Blacks brand)
¼ teaspoon
To taste (Bulk brand)
A pinch
Start by adding the milk, flavour drops and beetroot juice to a saucepan for heating.
Then add the cocoa powder, collagen protein, cinnamon, salt and half of the marshmallows to the mix and stir until the milk starts simmering and the marshmallows have melted.
If you have a milk frother to hand, then froth your hot chocolate until it achieves your desired level of frothiness.
Then poor into a mug, add the remaining marshmallows to the top, serve and enjoy.
*If using as a preworkout snack replacement, then drink 90 minutes preworkout (to ensure that it's sufficiently digested before you start training).
